National Latinx AIDS Awareness Day

October 15

National Latino AIDS Awareness Day (NLAAD) is observed on October 15, the last day of National Hispanic Heritage Month and recognizes the unique, HIV-related challenges faced by the Latinx community. NLAAD is an opportunity for us to help address the impact of HIV on Latinx communities, encourage everyone to get tested for HIV testing, and do our part to break stigma.

Caption 1:  Hispanic/Latino people make up nearly a third (29%) of the new HIV diagnoses. On National Latinx HIV/AIDS Awareness Day we invite you to join us as we raise awareness, #breakthestigma, and show love to the Latinx communities affected by HIV.  Together, we can #StopHIVTogether. Get tested to #knowyourstatus and stand united with us against HIV.

Caption 2: 1 in 4 Latino bisexual and gay men are diagnosed with HIV. Join us on National Latinx AIDS Awareness Day to #StopHIVTogether! Each person can make a difference by getting tested and encouraging others to do so, as well.
