Avita Earns Equality 100 Award for Workplace Inclusivity for 5th Year

Healthcare and pharmacy services organization Avita Care Solutions took home the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Equality 100 Award again in 2026.

PLANO, TEXAS (February 4, 2026) — For the fifth year running, the Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRCF) has awarded national healthcare and pharmacy services organization Avita Care Solutions a 100% rating on its Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices that support LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion. Avita earned the HRCF’s “Equality 100 Award” for the top score.

Now in its 23rd year, the 2026 CEI rated companies on detailed criteria from four focus areas:

  • Non-discrimination policies across business entities
  • Equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families
  • Supporting an inclusive culture, and
  • Outreach and engagement

“This honor isn’t about a single policy, program, or moment, but about consistency,” says Avita Chief Executive Officer Michael Yount. “It’s about showing up day after day with the same commitment to dignity, respect, and inclusion for Avita’s patients, covered entity partners, and each other.”

Earning this recognition once is meaningful. Earning it five years in a row shows who we are and how we operate, even when no one is watching. It reflects the everyday choices our team members make, the care they give, and the standards they refuse to compromise.

With more than 650 team members nationwide — including those serving patients at Avita Pharmacy, Q Care Plus, and AvitaCare Atlanta — Avita Care Solutions is committed to promoting health equities by providing comprehensive, compassionate, and inclusive healthcare and pharmacy services to underserved communities. For over five decades, Avita and its legacy brands have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to showing the LGBTQ+ community that they are seen, heard, valued, and safe.

“Earning this recognition once is meaningful,” Yount says. “Earning it five years in a row shows who we are and how we operate, even when no one is watching. It reflects the everyday choices our team members make, the care they give, and the standards they refuse to compromise.

This year’s HRCF survey engaged over 1450 U.S. employers, including members of Fortune magazine’s 500 largest publicly traded businesses. Only 36.8% of the companies engaged, including Avita, received the Equality 100 Award for scoring 100% on the index.
