2 National Awards Recognize Avita’s Workplace Inclusion and Advocacy Efforts
Avita was honored to be recognized in 2025 for our commitment to ensuring that marginalized communities feel included and cared for, earning the following awards:

For the fourth year in a row, the HRCF awarded Avita Care Solutions a score of 100 on its Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices that support LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion. Avita received the Equality 100 Award for scoring 100% on the index. “At Avita, our internal rally cry is ‘Be the Care,’” said Avita CEO Michael Yount. “That means treating all our team members and those we serve with dignity, respect, and personalized consideration, no matter how they identify or whom they choose to love.” - U.S. Business Action to End HIV 2025 Action Award:
Avita is a founding member of U.S. Business Action to End HIV, a coalition of businesses to harness the influence and expertise of the private sector to energize the fight to end HIV. 6 Clinical, Patient Outreach, and Team Initiatives that Back Our Core Values
There’s always something exciting happening at Avita, whether it’s at one of our more than 60 Avita Pharmacy locations, our community-focused telehealth solution Q Care Plus, the AvitaCare Atlanta medical facility and pharmacy operated in partnership with MedCura Health, or among the teams that support these brand pillars. However, six initiatives stood out in 2025 for exemplifying Avita’s core values of compassion, collaboration, and resourcefulness. They include:
- Avita Pharmacy opened four new locations across the U.S.:
As part of our mission to offer compassionate, community-based pharmacy services to our patients and covered entity partners nationwide, Avita Pharmacy opened new locations in Dothan, Alabama (onsite with partner Five Horizons); Chicago, Illinois; Nashville, Tennessee (onsite with Music City PrEP clinic); and Kissimmee, Florida (onsite with Pineapple Health). - Avita recognized the Everyday Heroes among its team members:
When you hear the word “hero,” you probably think of comic book characters who fly, fight supervillains, and still get to the gym. At Avita, our heroes go above and beyond their regular job duties for a patient, partner, community member, or another team member. They’re our Everyday Heroes. In 2025, we recognized 12 team members from a pool of individuals nominated by their teammates. - AvitaCare Atlanta won top honors for its “Stomp the Noise: Be Fearless. Get Tested.” HIV testing public service campaign developed in collaboration with covered entity partner MedCura Health:
Atlanta has the third-highest rate of new diagnoses nationwide. To provide all Atlantans with access to compassionate and comprehensive care, AvitaCare Atlanta and MedCura Health hosted a free HIV and STI testing event in February 2025. - Avita team members “Shared the Love” to show patients they matter:
The Avita team wrote supportive notes, which were then distributed to patients at pharmacy locations across the country. This “Share the Love” card campaign reflected Avita’s commitment to cheering patients on their unique health and wellness journeys. - Q Care Plus’ Doxy-PEP telehealth program addressed an unmet need:
At the 2025 STI Engage Conference, Q Care Plus providers presented findings from the telehealth platform’s novel doxycycline post-exposure prophylaxis (Doxy-PEP) intervention study, highlighting how a combination of creative clinical thinking, a compassionate care mindset, and the power of telehealth are positively impacting sexual health outcomes for marginalized patients across the U.S. - Avita celebrated Pride Season with its “Along for the Pride” campaign:
Avita team members believe in a world where LGBTQ+ Pride is celebrated everywhere, with everyone. From rural towns to big cities, from the desert to the coastline, Pride is a collective journey for all of us — no matter who we are, where we are, or where we’re headed. With that in mind, the organization collectively announced its 2025 Pride theme, “Along for the Pride,” celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and advocating for healthcare as a human right at more than 30 Pride events nationwide.
